AM Mastering Terms of Service

How I work with clients: online mixing & mastering by Anton Make (AM Mastering)

Version of October 1, 2026. Prices effective January 1, 2027.

1. Who we are and how you accept

1.1. Engineer — Anton Make (AM Mastering), Progressive House producer, DJ and mastering engineer based in Kazan, Russia. I've been making music since 2010 and work with clients worldwide. Details: Anton Muravyev, self-employed (registered professional income tax payer, Russia).

1.2. Client — any artist, producer, label or company ordering my services.

1.3. These terms are a public offer. You accept them when you do any of the following: send files for work, confirm an order (by email, Telegram, Instagram or a website form), or pay.

1.4. Anything we agree in writing for a specific order (for example, in our chat) takes priority. Everything else is covered here.

2. Services and prices

2.1. What I offer:

  • Stereo mastering — mastering of your finished mix (a single stereo file).
  • Rush mastering (48h) — the same service, prioritized and delivered within 48 hours.
  • Mixing & mastering from stems — from 5 stems up to unlimited.
  • Monthly packages for labels and artists (retainer) — a set number of tracks per month, priority queue, delivery within 3 days per track. Unused tracks roll over to the next month.

2.2. A radio edit of an ordered track is free: it goes through the same processing chain as the main version.

2.3. Current prices (EUR/USD and RUB), including extra revisions, are on the price list: AM Mastering — Prices.

2.4. The 2027 price list takes effect on January 1, 2027:

  • new clients are charged 2027 prices;
  • orders confirmed on or before December 31, 2026 are done at 2026 rates.

2.5. The price is fixed when the order is confirmed and doesn't change after that.

3. File requirements

3.1. Format: WAV or AIFF, 24-bit or 32-bit float, at the project's original sample rate (no conversion).

3.2. Leave headroom: peaks roughly between −6 and −3 dBFS.

3.3. No limiter, clipper or mastering processing on the master bus. If a master-bus plugin is part of your sound, send two versions: with it and without it.

3.4. For mixing: export all stems from bar 1 (same start point and same length), give them clear names, and tell me the tempo.

3.5. References (1–3 tracks whose sound you like) and any notes in plain words are very welcome.

3.6. If the files don't meet these requirements, I'll ask you to re-export them. Turnaround starts once I have the correct files.

4. Turnaround

4.1. Standard orders — agreed when you order, typically within a week.

4.2. Rush — within 48 hours of receiving correct files (and payment, if prepayment applies).

4.3. Packages — within 3 days per track.

4.4. If something unexpected happens (illness, force majeure), I'll let you know right away and offer either a new deadline or a refund for unfinished work.

5. Revisions

5.1. Mastering: up to 3 revisions are free. Extra revisions are charged per the price list.

5.2. Mixing: revisions beyond those included are charged per the price list.

5.3. A revision means an adjustment to my work on the same mix or the same stems: "a bit more low end", "a touch quieter", "brighter vocal" and so on.

5.4. If you change the mix or arrangement yourself and send a new premaster (or new stems), that's new material rather than a revision, and it may be charged as a new order. Small tweaks we can usually sort out between us — just tell me first.

5.5. Revisions are accepted within 30 days after delivery.

6. Payment

6.1. Payment method is agreed individually when placing the order.

6.2. Whether I work with or without prepayment is up to me, depending on the order.

6.3. Packages, rush orders and mixing may require prepayment.

6.4. Final full-quality files are delivered after payment unless we agree otherwise. Before payment I may send a preview (e.g., MP3 or a shortened version).

7. Right to decline an order

7.1. I may decline an order if the source material has fundamental mix, arrangement or sound issues that mastering can't fix. In that case the work wouldn't deliver a good result: you'd spend money, I'd spend time, and neither of us would be happy.

7.2. This is purely about the result we can realistically expect from that specific file. It isn't a judgment of you as an artist or of your music.

7.3. Any prepayment is refunded in full.

7.4. I'll give you short, honest feedback on what I'd improve, and you're always welcome to come back with a revised version. If the issue is in the mix, I can offer my stem mixing service.

7.5. Please take this calmly: it's a professional decision made in your interest.

8. Rights

8.1. All rights to your music, source files and final masters stay with you (or whoever holds them under your agreements). I claim no authorship, share or royalties.

8.2. I'll use excerpts of the work in my portfolio, showreel or social media only with your consent. I'll always ask, and "no" is a perfectly fine answer.

8.3. Crediting me (Mastered / Mixed by Anton Make) is up to you. Appreciated, never required.

9. Confidentiality

9.1. I don't share your files with third parties or publish them.

9.2. Unreleased material stays private until release, and after release too unless you agree otherwise.

9.3. I use your contact details only for your order and our communication.

10. File storage

10.1. I keep source files and projects for 3 months after delivery.

10.2. After that they may be deleted, so later rework may require re-sending the material and placing a new order.

10.3. Keep your own copies of the masters and sources — that's your best backup.

11. Liability

11.1. Sound is largely subjective. I do my best to make the result something you love and that translates well across systems, and revisions exist to get there. I can't guarantee outcomes like label signings, playlist placements or stream counts.

11.2. By sending material, you confirm you hold the rights to it (including samples, vocals and third-party parts) and you're responsible for any third-party claims.

11.3. My liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

11.4. I'm not responsible for issues caused by faulty source files or by further processing of the master without my involvement.

12. Changes to these terms

12.1. I may update these terms. A new version applies to orders confirmed after it's published; orders already confirmed follow the terms in place at the time.

13. Contacts

Write to me whichever way suits you best:

Thanks for trusting me with your music!
